Gordon Korman was born in Toronto, Canada and his career began by accident in 7th grade. The book he wrote in 7th grade, This Can't Be Happening At McDonald Hall, ended up getting published by Scholastic. He had his books translated into 32 languages and sold over 30 million copies of his book.

Kate DiCamillo was born in Philadelphia and lives in Minnesota now. She doesn't like cooking and loves to eat.

Her style of writing is very sad, be warned. My favorite books that she wrote are The Tales of Desperaux, The Magician's Elephant and The Tales of Edward Tulane.

He used to teach at San Antonio and got honored with a Master Teacher Award. He likes to write fiction stories on different cultures.
